Daily Grounding Matcha Latte


Most of us run on high speed all day long, and our bodies are in constant fight or flight mode, which can have a negative impact on overall health. It’s important for our long term health to take a few minutes to unwind and get back to homeostasis. One of my favorite ways to unwind in the middle of a busy day is to make a warm bevvy and sit still for a few minutes while I sip. Matcha is incredibly high in antioxidants and full of health benefits and anti-cancer properties.


Here’s how I make my fave daily matcha latte:


  • 1 tsp organic matcha powder

  • big splash full fat coconut milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1 scoop of grassfed collagen

  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (optional)

  • splash maple syrup or 4-6 drops liquid stevia (optional)

  • boiling water

  • couple shakes of cinnamon to top


I put everything into a coffee mug, fill halfway with boiling water, and use a hand frother to mix. Then, fill the rest of the way up with boiling water and add cinnamon on top. You could also put ingredients into a blender and blend on high until frothy.
