Upgraded Hot Chocolate

No junky ingredients here! My healthy homemade hot chocolate is so creamy and delicious, made with simple ingredients, and takes no time at all to make. Just toss all the ingredients into one saucepan on the stove and heat up!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups filtered water
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk or milk of choice
1 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 scoop collagen (optional) -I use Paleo Valley Unflavored Grassfed Bone Broth Protein Powder
DIRECTIONS:
In a medium saucepan on the stove, add all ingredients and whisk to combine.
Heat to desired temp, then pour into your fave mug and enjoy!
Bonus points if you top it with my Healthy Homemade Marshmallows.
NOTES:
This recipe serves 2, but it is easy to double or triple for a bigger crowd.
Feel free to adjust ingredients as needed to taste.
I love to top it with a sprinkle of cinnamon, which is immune boosting and helps with blood sugar balance.
