Heart Healthy Candied Nuts & Seeds

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups raw walnuts
2 cups raw pecans
1 cup raw pumpkin seeds
2/3 cup pure maple syrup
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tsp sea salt or pink salt
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix well to combine.
Spread mixture out evenly on a baking sheet and put into the oven for 20-30 minutes, or until lightly golden brown and fragrant.
Sprinkle with flaky salt (optional) and let cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.
Enjoy!
NOTES:
Feel free to play around and switch up the types of nuts and seeds. Almonds or cashews would be delish!
Use them to top salads, add to a charcuterie board or just snack on by themselves.
I like to put them into a cute jar as a gift to my neighbors for Christmas. They would make a yummy homemade hostess gift too!
